We’re excited to welcome you to the DSU community. Our online MPH program has no GRE/GMAT requirement, and pursuing an application fee waiver makes it easier to begin the admission process. Here are the requirements to meet when you apply:

International Students
DSU offers an empowering community to students from around the world. In addition to the basic admission requirements, you’ll submit the following items with your application. Be sure to apply at least 90 days before classes start so that you have ample time to fulfill these requirements.

Dr. Amy Gootee-Ash, Public Health Program Coordinator
Faculty Spotlight: Dr. Amy Gootee-Ash, Public Health Program Coordinator
Dr. Amy Gootee-Ash is a public health scholar and practitioner with expertise in food insecurity, student health behaviors and applied community-based research. As a faculty member in the Department of Public and Allied Health at Delaware State University, she is committed to preparing the next generation of public health professionals through experiential learning and evidence-based practice.
Dr. Gootee-Ash’s work focuses on linking social determinants of health with measurable biological indicators to improve health outcomes among college populations. She earned her PhD in Health Sciences from Northern Illinois University, where her dissertation examined food insecurity among college students — a line of research she continues to expand through biomarker-driven studies in diet quality, stress and inflammation.
Dr. Gootee-Ash is a master trainer for the State of Delaware in chronic disease, and she has extensive experience in curriculum development, student mentoring, program evaluation and grant-supported research. In addition to her academic work, she collaborates with community partners on initiatives addressing mental health, nutrition access and preventive health education.
